THE CONCEPT FOR THIS WINDOW GREW FROM THE IDEA OF OF SPRING AND WHAT IT MEANS TO ENGLAND.
I FOCUSSED ON LAWNS BEGINNING TO GROW AGAIN – THE SMELL OF THE CUT GRASS THE FIRST TIME THE GRASS IS MOWED AFTER THE WINTER AND APRIL SHOWERS.
THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE AN OUTSIZED LAWN – I CHOSE ALUMINIUM TO CREATE THE BLADES OFFERED US A CHANCE TO ACHIEVE A MODERN SCULPTURAL FEEL – THE COLOUR ADDS A POP OF ITS NATURAL COLOUR AND THE DROPLETS HINT AT THE UK’S WEAKNESS FOR RAINY SPELLS .
